Amongst other well-known designer the Vorwerk carpets/tiles are designed by Zaha Hadid, Gerhard Richter, Norman Foster, Jean Novel & Hadi Teherani. A great example from real life: not only do the tiles manifest that they are one of the most sustainable tiles:

Sophisticated patterns and alternating textures generate undreamt-of perspective effects or a surprising, three-dimensional appearance. Merely varying the mode of laying or the colour contrast paves the way for a completely new spatial feel.
